Nelson’s was the first name that caught my attention on the list. I researched him after a BigSoccer post alleged he was on trial with the Wizards, a claim proved false by the team’s technical staff. His college coach, Helio D’Anna, said he has been going to different camps and combines. Here’s his background:

• 5′10″ midfielder from Pembroke Pines, Florida.
• Started all 25 games in the Fall for the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters en route to the Division II championship game.
• Recorded 15 goals and 7 assists as a senior, bringing his four-year tally to 28 goals and 23 assists.
