Wizards fans are invited to wish a fond farewell to ex-Wizard Nick Garcia at BLONDE beginning at 10 pm tonight. As he leaves for San Jose, I’ll leave you with two of my favorite Nick moments:
- The first — his one and only MLS goal, 181 games into his career.
- And then last season’s postgame interview when he summarized Colorado’s tactics as, “Come in here and play like a bunch of fools…It’s unfortunate they try and do that because they really can’t play.”
Best of luck in sunny SJ, Nick. You’ll be missed.
