With the 25th overall pick the Wizards chose Jon Leathers.

If I get this right, the Wizards have chosen 3 backs and one midfielder.

It seems that Myers and Leathers are outside backs and William is a central defender.

If these guys pan out, this draft will be considered brilliant and our defense will be shored up for a long time. I do think Jimmy Conrad at sweep will do well to mentor these guys, and the other couple existing backs.

Are you telling me Myers wouldn’t have been available later?

Myers stock shot up during the combine. He likely would not have been around.
