Best Fake Logos Ever

Like I said These are great looking logosI like four of them better than our current logo (all but two on right). Finally I have hope that the Wizards theme could work, that no re-naming is needed with the re-brand. Matthias, nice work.

What do lions have to do with Wizards? I forget.
I wondered that too. A dragon maybe but a lion? … unless… Lions, and tigers, and bears! Oh my!
Agree with the lion critique - if anything, it ought to be an eagle… the lion symbolizes England (or so I thought)
I love it. Wizard were always associated with kings which use the lion symbol. I love ‘em!
Too much going on for me, and seems a little poseur with the lion. Better than the River Plate homage we saw last week.
These are a bit better than those previously posted, but they are still a long way from what a professional graphic desgner can come up with.
What’s unprofessional about them? Ive logged 21,200 photoshop/illustrator hours in 12 years, professionally. A professional
never completes designs first time, there can be dozens of updates to the first set which, in the profession, are called ‘comps’. I just wanted to get some feedback before my rookie skills take the next steps. LOL

hey kopite, didn’t a “professional” come up with the original rainbow logo? jimmy makes better designs than that in his toilet bowl every morning. maybe not quite as colorful (jimmy would probably need a doctor then), but still…
being professional doesn’t necessarily equate to being good… just as being a non-professional doesn’t necessarily always equate to not being good enough. jimmy likes the progression being made on a new logo/crest.
i like this direction although it might be a bit busy for some official logo- I would love to get A on a t-shirt personally.
These are some of the best mock up logos I’ve seen. But let’s not get carried away about this. None of these logos are going to be chosen for the team logo. I would almost guarantee that the logo will look nothing like any of these logos. Sure it’s nice to talk about it and say how good they look, but they’re not going to be our logo.

maybe my comments came across as a little harsh, and if so, I apologise.
To be more constructive, the images are a little too cartoon-ish and the lettering looks too “hand drawn”

JimmyD, the rainbow logo apparently was done by a professional and I would hate to see you toilet bowl! Yeah that logo completely sucks
Cool. I was looking for more critiques to make them better. Gracias for the input. Im just putting them out there, maybe The Cauldron can use one when we get them finished. I have been keeping track of all the comments and will incorporate the suggestions in the next round of fantasy logos.

There were actually more Lions in North America, from as far north as the Yukon all the way south into Peru in South America.
We may not even BE the Wizards in the future. They may drop it all-together.
